The warmer weather brings more opportunities for outdoor play, nature walks and connecting with the world around them. These activities help children manage stress and improve their emotional health. Here are a few ways to encourage children to embrace the season with hope, joy and emotional growth:
Mindfulness & Awareness
Encourage families to practice mindfulness with their children. Activities like mindful walking, observing nature or spending time in green spaces can help children manage their emotions.
Suggest outdoor activities such as gardening, visiting parks or playing outside to boost Encourage children to explore their creativity through activities like drawing, painting or journaling. Creative expression helps children process their emotions and express themselves in healthy ways.
Spend time creating spring-themed crafts together, allowing children to engage in hands-on activities that spark joy and help them connect with the season.
