Everybody knows somebody...
so get to know CAC.

A 4-photo collage of youth stacked 2x2. Top left, teenage white girl with long brown hair rests her head against a window. Top left, a teenage Latina girl sits in school with her chin resting on her hand as she stares into the distance. Bottom left - young Asian boy sits in front of a laptop. Bottom right - biracial teenage boy sits looking at his phone screen.

For 35 years, CAC has been meeting families in the midst of crisis after their child has been a victim of or witness to violence. Using an evidence-based, collaborative model, CAC offers hope and healing to families whose lives have been turned upside down.

CAC is fully accredited by the National Children's Alliance in Washington, D.C. We partner with law enforcement, DCFS, the State's Attorney's Office and healthcare providers to prioritize the child's well-being. Our expert services include specialized interviewing, family advocacy and mental health counseling - all free of charge and offered in English and Spanish. From the forensic interview to the final therapy session, our goal is to help young survivors process their trauma, build resilience and live safer, healthier lives.

Empowering voices. Inspiring hope. This is CAC.
